There are a lot of old historic outdoor dance halls and dance pavilions around Utah, most are in ruins and fading away. I’m trying to visit and document them.
Here are the ones I’ve learned exist and if I’ve documented them the name is linked to the page.
- Anona in Richfield
- Cobble Crest in Kanarraville
- Cottonwood Grove in Marysvale
- Purple Haze in Kingston
- Rainbow Gardens in Cedar City
- Redmond Remonto in Redmond
- Rendezvous above Glenwood
- Shady Dell/Dale along the Sevier River
- Sunset Pavilion in Richfield
- Starlite Gardens in Anderson Junction

I don’t know of that one, is it from the same 30’s / 40’s time period?

“Red Apple” in Torrey UT
and the “Latona” in American Fork.
If you contact me, I’m pretty sure I have pictures of both.

Very cool, thanks! I’d love to see those.

Jacob,
I own the land where the dance hall was on the sevier River. It was called shady dell. I’d like to find more information on it as well. Maybe old pictures or something. Would you like to see the property and discuss this?
