Hans C. Jensen House

The Hans C. Jensen House in Ephraim is architecturally significant as an example of Scandinavian folk building design in Utah. The house contributes historically to the thematic nomination, “The Scandinavian-American Pair-house in Utah.”

Hans. C. Jensen was born in Housenge, Denmark in-1845. Joining the LDS Church in the early 1860s, he emigrated to Utah in 1866 and settled at Ephraim. Jensen was a farmer, served on the city council, and was active in the local Danish ward meeting.
