Early “Rivergrove” Residents

Early “Rivergrove” Residents

The Timpanogots Utes, who were hunter-gatherers, once lived in this neighborhood. As is the case today, the springs in the park, the proximity of the Provo River, and the shelter provided by the hillside made it a great place to live. Many Native American artifacts have been discovered in this area.

This plaque is located in Lions Park at 1280 North 950 West in Provo, Utah
