Abraham Hanauer Home

Abraham Hanauer came to Utah from Colorado in 1885, where he had been a mining lawyer, and
built this house in 1893. In Salt Lake he served as secretary and vice president of Hanauer
Smelting and Refining Company, which was later taken over by the American Smelting and
Refining Company. He was also president of the Yerington C.M. Mining Company.
