Kim Childs shared a post on facebook:
One hundred years ago, on May 31, 1920, an Oldsmobile automobile from the A. E. Tourssen Motor Company made its way around Salt Lake for a photo shoot. It posed at many scenic spots, I suppose, in order to get sold. It posed in front of some homes on Yale Avenue, including 1360 Yale Avenue, which was the residence of Alfred E. Tourssen at that time. It posed on the football field of East High School, which obviously wasn’t much of a football field yet, and on President’s Circle at the University of Utah. It posed in the driveway of the Terry Residence, but I haven’t been able to figure out where that actually was. It posed at several spots on South Temple, in front of the David Keith Mansion, the Eagle Gate and Beehive House, the Lion House, the LDS Church Administration Building, the Brigham Young Monument and Temple Square. It also posed at Saltair, at the Salt Lake Country Club on 9th East and in the intersection of Main Street and 4th South. That was close by the A. E. Tourssen Motor Company dealership which was located at 465 So. Main Street.
I decided to go around and get current photos of each location in the facebook post:
