
This one-story building has been altered with stucco on the upper façade which has also been raised to a false height.
In 1967 a concrete block addition was made to the rear. The central entrance has been reworked to be very recessed.
The building has been highly altered.
This was one of the first commercial buildings built on the block—which had been residential« Arthur J. Durrant built the building in 1906 and moved his harness business into it.
The business was continued by his brother John H. – – becoming by 1917 J. H. Durrant Saddlery and Automobile Repair Co., which, by 1920, reflecting the changing times, had become the Durrant Auto Supply Co.
