Ernest E. Nebeker House
This one-story brick Victorian Eclectic style house was constructed in 1903 for $1,500 by Ernest E. and Lucy A. Nebeker. When he built the home, Nebeker worked as a brakeman for the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad. Employed by the railroad for forty years, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Ernest and his wife raised three children in the home, Lucille, Ida, and Clyde Ellwood. The home remained in the Nebeker family through 1945, when it was then sold to Ralph S. and Catherine K. Mills.
