Several who figured it out were unable to find it so I have placed another in the area.
Congrats to Adam Wills for finding it on 12/27/20!
How do we know of it has been found already? We’ve searched for 2 days and seen every inch of the spot. And nothing. We’re sure we’re in the right place.
I’ll stop by and make sure, I mark them as found on the website when someone claims the find.
Nothing but trampled sage brush and garbage up there sadly. Maybe a clue that directs finders a little more specifically? We found the area, but it’s acres of hillside and a mine …
We have been back since you changed it and still nothing. Spent close to an hour searching all the sagebrush around and anywhere else. The sagebrush is getting torn up and short of digging around, we don’t know where else to look. Clues on where in that area would be nice. Without those I think we are pretty burned out on this one.
Could we see a pic of where it was hidden? We were out there looking for it as well today.
Could we see a pic of where it was hidden? We were out searching for it today also.
I found it with a metal detector after my third visit. It was in a sage bush to the right of the marker, and it had fallen under a lot of underbrush. I swear I had searched that area multiple times but it was pretty deep in the grass. Surprisingly it was a blue metal container that should have been very easy to see, but I couldnt see it even after my metal detector beeped. I had to dig through a couple of layers of grass to see it.
