He was geocaching up until two days before he passed away.

December 19, 1938 ~ December 16, 2011

David Orin Lallas, was born on December 19, 1938, in Pocatello, Idaho to Peter Michael and Lucille Marshall Lallas. He died in Provo, Utah, 3 days before his 73rd birthday, of fatal injuries sustained in a truck accident on I-15 south of Santaquin, Utah. He married Linda Bherman, later divorced. On March 2, 1969, he married Sybil Sheriff.

David was an Electrician Technician for the Department of Defense in Utah,traveling the world until 1974, when he moved his family to Huron, South Dakota, employed by the FAA as an electronic technician for numerous airports in eastern South Dakota. After retirement in 1994, David and Sybil moved back to Lynndyl, Utah.

He loved his neighbors, his friends, the outdoors, geocaching, computers, ham radios, and he enjoyed working for the town of Lynndyl. David is a good man, a friend to all, outgoing, loving and kind to pets. We love you and miss you.

He is survived by children: Michael Orin (Roberta) Lallas, Aiea. HI; Gay Lynne Tregaskis, Orem, UT; Jerry Charles (Betty) Tanner, Payson, UT; Timothy William (Linda) Tanner, Lynndyl, UT; Tamara Lallas Tuttle, Payson, UT; one sister: Katheryn Fredricksen, Ashton, ID; and 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; brother: Leon; sisters: Mateena, Norma, and Beryl; and grandson: Joseph Biggs Tuttle.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, at 1:00 PM at the Leamington LDS Chapel. Friends may call Tuesday evening at the Nickle Mortuary from 7-8 PM, and Wednesday at the church from 11:30-12:40.

Burial will be in the Lynndyl Cemetery.
