This 1919 Prairie style bungalow is typical of the houses built in the late 1910’s and early 1920’s. Arthur LeRoy Smith was president of A.L. Smith Company. He was a manufacturing agent. He was born in Selma, California. In 1911, he married Gertrude Snow, a daughter of Franklin Richards Snow.
