“The first mural commissioned by the Ely Renaissance Society was dedicated on July 4th, 2000 at the White Pine County Museum. Notice how the real streetlights compliment the lights in the mural. Painted by Canadian artist Colin Williams, the mural depicts a scene from the early 1900’s that takes place following the annual 4th of July parade during which games for all ages were played.
