The Val A. and Edith D. Green Room

Van Allen Green was born and raised in Layton, Utah before joining the military. While stationed in the South, he met a Louisiana schoolteacher named Edith Derrick. After they were married, they returned to Utah, raised their family and made Layton their permanent home.

It was important to the Greens to give back to their community. Through the Green Family Foundation, their legacy continues throughout the Wasatch Front with grants to health care, medical research, education and community projects, including their generous gifts to the Davis Arts Council.
