Berg Mortuary was the first mortuary in the area. In 1918, the O.H. Berg and Son mortuary was incorporated after operating for several years and Berg Mortuary, Inc. was established. In 1935 the family moved the business to the Knight Mansion (at 185 E Center Street in Provo, Utah) due to congestion in its facilities at 40 East Center Street.
