Although the Tax Assessor’s records indicate the building was built in 1910, this building is probably not the Farrer Bros. Building. The upper windows are the same – a row of six, but the present building has an additional section with another window and entrance to the north.
The Farrer Bros. Building (29-33) was built about 1900 (Rodger Farrer, president; James R. Farrer assistant manager; John W. Farrer, secretary-treasurer and manager). It is evident from available photographs that the building remained standing until the 1940s.
This two-story brick building with, a central entrance and a north entrance has been greatly altered.
The tile done in geometric patterns on the façade has been stuccoed and wooded over. The upper story windows have also been altered.
