Lan’s Service Station
Lan’s Service Station, constructed 1949, is located on Main Street of Levan, Utah. Lan Taylor started the business on April 4, 1930. A little while later, a construction truck ran into the original building. Taylor rebuilt the station with two service bays and a canopy in 1949. He continued to operate the station until he sold it to his grandson Ronald Taylor. During its active years, the service station advertised Texaco products. This is an oblong box form in the Modern style with a canopy over where the gas pumps used to be. It has a flat roof with three distinctive bands encircling the building.*
