Located at 1067 West 500 North in the Fairpark Neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah.
From Preservation Utah‘s Fairpark Homes Tour:
This 1924 house typifies the Bungalow that was by far the most popular house type in Salt Lake City in the early 1900s. By the time this home was built, brick had become the building material throughout Utah. Most of the Bungalows in Salt Lake City are brick. The key attributes of this example are its low-slung profile, overhanging eaves, and porch entry. It was owned by the David and Jessie Newman family who owned and operated Newman’s Grocery Store located at 479 North 1000 West. Aside from working in the grocery business, David also worked as a contractor and carpenter for 25 years.
