Two story brick commercial building originally owned by either Charles A. or Florio C. Bertolina. Sometime during the early thirties the Venice Cafe was located in the LHS. From at least 1932-1936 Tony Skerl operated the Carbon Pool Hall in the RHS. In 1935 Mable Curtis operated the Carbon Hotel upstairs and K. Iwatake probably managed the Cook’s ‘Cafe in the LHS downstairs. The first floor front facade has been extensively modified.
