Thomas R. Cutler Mansion

In 1901, the Lehi Banner declared this home the “finest residence south of Salt Lake.” T. R. Cutler (1844-1922) is credited with much of the success of the beet sugar industry in the Intermountain West. Later, the home served as a hotel. From 1914-1925, Dr. Dr. F.D. Worlton (1882-1931) and family lived on the main floor while he rain a hospital upstairs.

Thomas R. Cutler, the general manager of the Utah Sugar Company and beloved bishop of the Lehi Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for more than 20 years, built the beautiful home in 1900. Later, one of his children turned the mansion into the Reltuc Inn. Then Dr. F. D. Worlton purchased the home and moved his family onto the main floor and ran the Lehi Hospital from the upstairs from 1914-1925. In 1977, Wallace and Arlene Olsen purchased the home and restored it. In 1984, the home was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
