Memorial Building

Dedicated on May 31, 1926, it was the first municipal building in the U.S. erected to honor veterans of WWI. Bronze tablets bear the names of Lehi’s service- men and servicewomen. Home to American Legion Post 19, it has housed a library, jail, city hall and fire station as well as hosted numerous community events. The Hutchings Museum has occupied it since 1996.

This historic marker was the 3rd of 36 in the Lehi Historical Marker Program series erected in 2024 outside the Hutchings Museum / Lehi Memorial Building at 55 North Center Street in Lehi, Utah.
