Jens C. Anderson Home
Jens C. Anderson, a Danish immigrant, built this 12-story brick house in 1884. It is one of the earlier homes in Spring City constructed of locally fired brick. The original section is a hall-parlor plan. The brick addition on the east was built in 1995. Jens and Kristen Anderson joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denmark and came to Utah in 1863, settling in Spring Town in 1868. Jens died in 1895; his son Christian and his wife, Jannette, a daughter of Reddick Allred, purchased the home and raised their family here.
