Constructed by the D&RGRW in 1913. The Rio Grande assembled the plow using a 1901 built Rio Grande Western flat car. By 1941 it was rebuilt utilizing a wrecked 40 ft. Chicago Burlington & Quincy automobile box car. It served the Rio Grande well into days following the merger with the Southern Pacific in the late 1980’s. After the Union Pacific merged the Southern Pacific in the middle 1990’s, it was donated to the Western Mining and Railroad Museum in Helper where it resides today.
