Albert Adkison Home
Albert H. Adkison, a real estate man, built this Victorian cottage for speculation around 1905. The two-story house is on a rough-faced ashlar foundation. The first story is of brick, while the upper floor is frame and wood shingle. The house consists of a one-room-wide-and-two-rooms-deep central mass with a gabled façade. There is evidence of a small gabled entrance portico which might have been a later modification, since removed. The second floor is well integrated into the structural form but might have been an addition. The house has been tastefully restored by Nathan and Marie Morgan.
