Ellen P. Ferris House

Constructed in 1905, this two-story brick dwelling is a good example of the Foursquare type of architecture. It was designed by notable local architect David C. Dart and built by developers Lucy and Adolph Richter. In 1915, a long-time tenant of the Richters, Ellen P. Ferris, purchased the property. The home retains its historic architectural integrity and contributes to the Avenues Historic District.
