John Dorius, Jr. was the son of a Danish emigrant and was born in Spring City, Utah. He built a gorgeous home in Ephraim, Utah and had a general store there on Main Street. In 1905 he sold his home and moved to Salt Lake City where he entered real estate development and built these apartments, the Dorius Apartments.
