In my explorating I seem to often see the name Carl M. Neuhausen, when a name pops up that much I like to look deeper and start to collect information and documentation on them.
Carl was born in 1858 in Germany and became one of Utah’s most notable architects, working with Richard K.A. Kletting for a time.
Some of the Carl Neuhausen related things I’ve documented are listed below:
- Cathedral of the Madeleine
- Clift Building
- Kearns – St. Ann’s Orphanage
- Orpheum Theatre
- Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church
- Salt Lake High School
- Thomas Kearns Mansion and Carriage House
