Loved seeing pictures of Verbena, especially the Gibson House. I was born and grew up right across the road from the Gibson House. Have been in that house many, many times. He had a bowling alley sit up for the neighborhood kids. It used to be a creek by the metal bridge called the Gibson Hole where all the kids went to swim. He kept it clean and had cables across the creek and a large rope in a tree we could swing out on. Best years of my life. Mr. Sidney Gibson would take kids up in his airplane if you wanted to go. I would like to know if the house has been sold out of the Gibson family and if so, are the owners redoing the home.
