In 1912 the Granite Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints built a seminary building across the street from Granite High School for students to attend a religious class as part of their school day. The idea spread fast across the nearby states but this is the site of the that first one.

These photos are of the current (2020) building that closed down when the high school was closed.
