What used to be called Lakeview is now just know as part of Orem, is a nice area near Utah Lake.

What used to be called Lakeview is now just know as part of Orem, is a nice area near Utah Lake.

I think the historic center of Lakeview is found in Provo at about 1650 North Geneva Road where the Lakeview Tithing office still stands. Several older are clustered here, although the community strung along Geneva Road. https://goo.gl/maps/9zpQDRERNtw
The chapel at 1700 North Geneva was probably constructed in the 1940-50s and houses the Lakeview 1st Ward today. Provo incorporated chunks of this areas beginning in the 1970s and culminating up to 2000 North Geneva (Provo)/2000 South Geneva (Orem) about the year 2007. The city has retained some of the unique identity of this area by naming the area of the two neighborhoods that cover it North and South Lakeview.
