Doing any exploring around Utah, Arizona, Idaho and more you’ll probably see some old Bishop’s Storehouse buildings. The members of the LDS Church donate 10% of their income to the church and back in pioneer days instead of money it was often animals, food or whatever they do for a living.
Most Mormon settlements had a Bishops Storehouse, often I can tell that is what they used to be just by seeing them.
This page is to document those I have come across.
- Draper
- Ephraim
- Fairview
- Fountain Green
- Lindon
- Manti
- Overton, Nevada
- Parowan
- Sugar House Salt Lake
Many bishop’s storehouses were also tithing offices, my list of tithing offices can be seen here:
