You ever hear of Goodyear’s fort and it’s location? And are you very familiar with the creeks in the Ogden area? I’m transcribing a journal from Addison Pratt and he’s in the Ogden area right now. This is what he says:
A smart days drive from here brought us across & Ogdens brook, this & Webers creek, form a junction just before they fall into the Salt Lake, & in their fork is situated Goodyear’s fort & is 40 miles from Salt Lake City.
Any thoughts?
