Jordan River Peace Labyrinth
I have another post about this place, Labyrinth Of Peace. But I visited again and got more photos and thought I’d start a new post instead of just adding to the old.
I really enjoy visiting this beautiful labyrinth created by Linda Nowlin.
I met with Linda (the creator)!and we visited the labyrinth together. We picked up garbage and cleaned the whole area. The homeless along the river are there every day with their tents pitched back in the trees. I’m sad that this sacred place has become their garbage dump. I have a hauled so many bags of garbage out of there in the last week of September 2022. Who takes care of this beautiful site, besides me? Holly
Hartland Community 4 Youth & Family have been stewards in this area and other parts of the river for years. I would consider also joining or support their efforts when possible if you’d like to build community, as you certainly are not the only one cleaning it. Appreciate your efforts!
