The Black Hawk War lasted from 1865 to 1872 and there were over 100 battles and conflicts contained in it.
This page is to reference the different sites related to the Blackhawk War I find and document in my exploring.
- 10 April 1865 – Black Hawk leads 16 Utes to drive off cattle in Manti.
- 12 April 1865 – Salina Canyon Conflict.
- June 1865 – Brigham Young meets with many chiefs in Spanish Fork for a treaty.
- 18 July 1865 – The Grass Valley Massacre, also called the Squaw Fight in Glenwood.
- 17 October 1865 – Settlers in Ephraim massacred. (also Black Hawk War (1865-1872) )
- 1866 – Tabernacle Fort built in Manti for protection of nearby towns.
- 26 June 1866 – Battle of Diamond Fork.
- 1 August 1866 – Peace treaty signed in Ephraim.
- 19 August 1867 – Peace Treaty in Heber.
- 5 April 1868 – near Vermillion/Sigurd Two killed by Blackhawk, Blackhawk wounded mortally.
- 29 September 1870 – Blackhawk died.
- 7 September 1872 – The final peace treaty is signed in Mt. Pleasant.
- 14 June 1873 – Treaty signed at Fish Lake.
