Built in 1932 as the Robison Motel and later renamed the Spinning Wheel Motel. I heard the classic sign has been there since the 1960s.

Neon Signs, Vintage Signs

666 South State Street in Salt Lake City, Utah

I love the old vintage signs.

From the looking around I’ve done online I found that: This sign was originally built for The Annex. It had text reading “Dancing” and “Beer” on the horizontal pieces. In recent years, the sign was adapted for Club Six, the Green Guinea, Ichabob’s Tavern, and Ego’s. In 2007, the sign was adapted for Bar Deluxe. By 2018, the sign had been repainted and there was no business name on it. The building now houses The Beehive.

The Millstream Motel was located at 1450 Washington Blvd in Ogden, Utah.

It was bBuilt in 1939 by the Kammeyer brothers, they sold it to Donald Bradshaw. He in turn, sold it to his brother, Robert Bradshaw.

In 1978, Robert’s daughter Margo Bradshaw Smith and she ran it with her husband Jack Smith until 2007.

At one point in time it was considered Ogden‘s finest motel. It really was quite beautiful when it was built but they remodeled it in the 60s and it went downhill from there. It was demolished in August 2018.

Located at 117 West 400 South  in Salt Lake, The Summit Group has preserved the old vintage neon sign that was for United Electric Supply back in the 1950s. The lettering would light up alternating messages of “United Electric Supply” and “House of Service”.

Below are a couple of old photos I found online here and here.
