inThe Thunderbird opened in 1940, making it one of Utah’s oldest restaurants that is still around. The sign outside this family-owned restaurant advertises “ho-made” pies because the first owner, Ed Myers, couldn’t find a board big enough to write out the whole word. Now his grandson operates the restaurant.
I love the cool vintage neon sign.
