Sandy Beach is a really fun place to play in the summer, I have spent countless hours there. It’s one of the only places in Utah Lake where the bottom is sand instead of stinky mud and the water doesn’t really get deep – I can walk hundreds of feet out into the lake and still have my feet on the ground. It’s a fun place for fires and playing with kids in the water.

In Hobble Creek Canyon is a fun place to picnic, camp, sled in the winter and just enjoy the beautiful canyon called Jolley’s Ranch.
In recognition and remembrance of Orlando and Christine Jolley.
The Jolley’s loved and ranched at this property for many years. It is through their dedication and foresight that the Jolley’s Ranch has been preserved as a palce where youth and families can come to enjoy the beauty and surroundings of Hobble Creek Canyon.

I was at a basketball game in the gym that used to be part of the original Springville High School. I took a few pictures because I really liked the look of it and the historic feel of it.
I talked to Doug Young while there, he told me about attending Brigham Young Academy over at the BYU Women’s Gym and how they came here to play their basketball games and to watch the BYU team play and practice.
